Insurance Information

Trip Cancelation, Trip Interruption & Travel Delay

Travel is expensive, especially tours and cruises. Once you’ve paid your deposit or full payment, what will happen if:

· You or someone in your immediate family unexpectedly becomes ill, injured or dies

and you can no longer take  or continue your trip?

· Your tour operator, airline or cruise line stops operating?

A cancellation or interruption of your trip can cause you to lose some or all of your prepaid trip expenses.

Trip Cancellation insurance and Trip Interruption insurance can provide protection of your covered Trip cost when you, an Immediate Family Member or Travelling Companion cancel or interrupt a Trip for covered reasons.

An early interruption of your Trip can cause you to lose more than your Trip cost, due to the additional last minute ticket purchase to return home early. If you’ve insured your full Trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions, Insurance companies  can provide certain cost if you must interrupt your Trip. A lengthy trip delay can cause you unexpected food and lodging expenses.  A Trip Delay Benefit can reimburse you for certain costs for your meal and accommodation expenses for a covered Trip delay.

Note:

Orenzian Xperience advises that all our clients take out the above insurance and will not be held responsible for any monies owed due to any scenario above.

Travel Health Insurance

Do you have adequate travel health insurance?

You may not be fully prepared for your trip without it. Many people don't realize how expensive health care can be away from home, and especially out of one's home country. Without proper insurance, a long-planned trip or study abroad can turn into an extremely costly and frustrating experience. Thousands of travellers pay the price each year because their current health care plan provides little or no coverage for medical expenses outside their "network" or their home country.

For example, U.K. and U.S. Medicare does not cover anyone travelling outside the U.S. Visitors to the U.K. and U.S. are often shocked at the cost of U.K. and U.S. medical care, and a family's savings can quickly be exhausted when a visitor experiences an unexpected illness or injury.

International Medical Insurance

You may not be fully prepared to travel until you acquire adequate international medical insurance. Many people don't realize how expensive medical care can be away from home,

and especially out of one's home country. Without proper insurance, a long-planned trip or

study abroad can turn into an extremely costly and frustrating experience. Thousands of travellers pay the price each year because their current health care plan provides little or

no coverage for medical expenses outside their "network" or their home country.

Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance

Medical transport costs during your trip can be substantial. When you have an accident or become suddenly ill and an ambulance, medical helicopter or other medical conveyance is required to transport you to immediate care, who will pay these expenses? If you need to be medically transported back to your home country, you could owe the expense for a private air ambulance, or for a block of seats large enough to accommodate a stretcher and medical equipment on a commercial flight, plus a medical attendant to accompany you.

You can begin to see why international medical evacuations can cost $50,000...or more. Most U.S. medical policies, HMOs & PPOs provide little or no coverage for these expenses. Medicare will not cover you outside the U.S., nor will most Medicare supplements. Visitors to the U.S. may find that their home country plan will not cover medical evacuation. Instead, it will be the family that must pay the bill. We therefore believe that Emergency Medical Evacuation insurance coverage is imperative for any traveller, and we include it in all of the following plans

Baggage and Baggage Delay

Your baggage and personal possessions can be lost, stolen or damaged anytime, anywhere in the world. 24-hour baggage insurance is important as airlines only provide limited protection for your checked baggage and do not cover your carry-on items. Cruise lines and hotels offer little or no coverage. Homeowners or renters insurance may provide limited benefits or have a high deductible.

High Limit Coverage

Increasingly, people are concerned about a possible accidental death during their trip. The following plans address this with high limit Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance:
